VERNON COUNTY, Mo. — On Monday morning, a crash between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer unit killed three people, including two teenagers.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, troopers were called to a crash between a 2013 Ford F-150 with four people in it and a 2014 Peterbilt tractor-trailer truck at 12:12 a.m. on Monday. The F-150 didn’t stop at a stop sign and hit the side of the Peterbilt tractor-trailer.

One of the people who died in the crash was Tylar A. Greene, who was 19 years old and from Nevada, Missouri. Greene drove the car.
Allison R. Bittiker is 24 and lived in Nevada.
A Bronaugh girl who is 17 years old.
At the scene, both Bittiker and the child were said to be dead. Greene was taken to the hospital, but at 4:40 a.m., he was pronounced dead.
Derick T. Mahurin, 19, from Nevada, was the fourth person in the truck. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Seatbelts were not worn by anyone in the F-150.

The tractor-trailer unit’s driver, who was 48 years old, was not hurt. The accident happened at the intersection of US Highway 54 and Missouri Route 43, which is five miles west of Nevada.
