A car accident that happened on September 9 at 1:20 pm on I-84 at mile marker 188 in Jerome County is being looked into by the Idaho State Police.
A 63-year-old Houston, Texas, man was operating a semi-truck and trailer as it headed west on I-84. A 68-year-old Filer man was operating a tanker semi-truck that was parked on the westbound shoulder. The two trucks collided when he tried to merge onto I-84.
The 68-year-old man was sent to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance.
