DAVIS COUNTY, Utah — A van crashed into a car in Davis County after the driver moved to the left shoulder to fix a flat tire. The driver was seriously hurt.

The accident happened on Tuesday on Interstate 15 in Davis County, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

Officials said that the driver of a passenger car pulled over to the left shoulder when they saw that their car had a flat tire.

Photos showed that a van crashed into the car, which partly blocked the HOV lane.
